-Babinsa Koramil 1709-02 / Yaptim Chief Private Adam Sudak gave
assistance in the form of plant maintenance to Sir Sukamto which is a
corn farmer from Awunawai Village on an area of 200 m², East Yapen
District, Kab. Kep. Yapen, Tuesday (30/01/2017).
Maintenance assistance carried out by Babinsa with Sir. Sukamto in the form of fertilizer as well as cleaning of corn plant in the neighborhood of wild grass so it is expected to provide benefits to achieve satisfactory results at harvest time.
"Through the maintenance of corn crops that we carried out with Sir. Sukamto which is one of the corn farmers in Village of Dawai, in addition to aims to provide satisfactory crops, through our accompaniment is also aimed to motivate the farmers to be more active in improving their agricultural produce in order to realize food self-sufficiency in Kab. Kep. Yapen, "said Babinsa.
Sir. Sukamto thanked Babinsa for helping him with his corn, "the maintenance of corn crops may seem trivial, but if not done routinely it will have a bad impact on corn crops as they enter the harvest. With the assistance done by Babinsa, we believe our crops will be satisfactory, "he said.
